Our mission to love God as followers of Jesus Christ
Uncommon Heroes April 27th thru May 25th
A Sunday message series by Pastor Ron Gelaude:
If you have ever scanned and/or read the Bible you’ve most likely noticed that God uses some rather suspect characters to move his mission forward. One might say that they were even questionable in either their character or their qualification, and sometimes both. So, join us on Sunday, April 27th, as we begin taking a look at the following cast of characters:
April 27th Rahab | a story of risk and trust...
May 4th Gideon | a story success and failure...
May 11th Hannah | a story of new life and dedication...
May 18th Josiah | a story of revival and how to get there...
May 25th Habakkuk | a story of questions and unexpected
So, how will this series apply to you? In the grand scheme of how and why God uses these individuals we see a portrait of Uncommon Heroes, and in them we often see ourselves.
Coming This Summer!!!!
Jesus was always telling stories; really good ones. The stories Jesus told, however, were not meant to simply entertain; they were meant to make a deep/lasting impression and strike a single chord in the heart. They are stories that help us see reality, and stories that hopefully redirect our lives. They’re called parables, and more often than not, they ticked some people off, so hang on to your hat, this summer is going to be loads of fun...
