Easter Sunday!! He Knows Your Name
Services at 8:30 and 10:30 (with snacks and fruit in between)
You can often tell what’s coming by how your name is used: ~ A question is coming; Hey Ron... ~ Someone is not happy with you; Ron, Ron, Ron, Ron! ~ Something mysterious is about to happen; Oh Ron :) ~ You know you’re in deep trouble; Ronald Charles Gelaude!!!!
But then there is a way your name is used that can take you to a deeper place; a place inside that might need some attention. Some can see it on your face and they ask, Ron, what’s really going on? And when this happens you know someone truly cares.
Jesus, the one who rose again, knows your name as well, and better yet, he knows you better than you know yourself. Guess what? This Easter Jesus wants to whisper your name and speak into your heart and soul, and this name might surprise you. So, come on out, you won't be disappointed.
So, after Easter, what's next?
Uncommon Heroes April 27th thru May 25th
A Sunday message series by Pastor Ron Gelaude:
If you have ever scanned and/or read the Bible you’ve most likely noticed that God uses some rather suspect characters to move his mission forward. One might say that they were even questionable in either their character or their qualification, and sometimes both. So, join us on Sunday, April 27th, as we begin taking a look at the following cast of characters:
April 27th Rahab | a story of risk and trust...
May 4th Gideon | a story success and failure...
May 11th Hannah | a story of new life and dedication...
May 18th Josiah | a story of revival and how to get there...
May 25th Habakkuk | a story of questions and unexpected
So, how will this series apply to you? In the grand scheme of how and why God uses these individuals we see a portrait of Uncommon Heroes, and in them we often see ourselves.
Coming This Summer!!!!
Jesus was always telling stories; really good ones. The stories Jesus told, however, were not meant to simply entertain; they were meant to make a deep/lasting impression and strike a single chord in the heart. They are stories that help us see reality, and stories that hopefully redirect our lives. They’re called parables, and more often than not, they really ticked people off, so hang on to your hat, this summer is going to be loads of fun...
If you would like to listen to a previous Sunday message and you don't see it in a current Sunday series (to the left), you can click on the tab above labeled, Sunday Message Archives and you'll find it there. Check it out.
