"...the gifts you sent - they are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God. And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus."
The Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:18-19
As followers of Jesus Christ, we commit ourselves to grow in our stewardship of our whole lives (time, talent and treasure.) There is no area where His Lordship does not extent. We are a community of believers who want to continually grow in our stewardship of our lives as we invest ourselves in the Kingdom of God.
Fruitland Covenant Finances
Our finances are managed in three different funds:
General Fund - budgeted at just over $130,000 for 2007. This fund covers all areas of ministry except for the building mortgage. Everything from our children, youth and adult ministries to our insurances, salaries, utilities and building & grounds maintanence is budgeted in this fund.
Building Fund - as of January 2007 we began paying our mortgage payment on the new addition which totals $5250/month. We have held back some $60,000 to subsidize this payment as the congregation moves to the level of giving the full amount in the weekly offering.
Restricted or Transit Accounts - we have a variety of ear-marked accounts such as "Memorials" & "Benevolence" which carry over from year to year until depleted.
